It's the ranking the No. 2 Volunteers likely will ascend to today on the heels of their 66-62 victory over top-ranked Memphis on Saturday night, their first victory over a No. 1 opponent since 1969. .

On Native Ground
DUMMERSTON, Vt. -- If these were normal times, the thought that President George W. Bush would launch a war to preserve his party's grip on power would be dismissed as lunacy. Unfortunately, these are not normal times and the current occupant of the White House is not a rational man. We know that, barring an October Surprise, the Republican Party could lose its control of Congress after the Nov. 7 election. We also know that the GOP's political strategy is all about fear and endless war, so the possibility that the Bush Administration will launch an attack on Iran's nuclear research facilities in late October suddenly doesn't seem that far-fetched. The Bush Administration has painted Iran as a grave threat to national security because of its nuclear ambitions and its support of international terrorism.

Thanks for the mammaries
Not on the side of milk cartons but in the wacky world of cyberspace, where nothing is ever too cockamamie to consider. An online website is bringing flat-chested women and mammary-minded men of a charitable nature together for mutually beneficial purposes. The dames want implants; the gents want pictures. Quid pro quo. Aye, it's a sad state of affairs – the haves versus the have-nots – when poor girls must go begging, little brassiere cups in hand, for breast enhancement surgery. But with kidneys and other human organs available through the black market of human spare parts, at least these supplicants are upfront about it. Candace Leadley of Calgary is a wee 29AAA, which is almost concave. The single mother of one pines to be a 36C, which she's certain will boost her self-esteem along with her cleavage.
Bounce along for day in the life of A.J. Ogilvy
He got them about two years ago and wouldn't care a bit if he got grief over them. (Skip the third Spider-Man movie if you haven't already seen it, he advises.) On his laptop, he searches YouTube for highlights of Dwight Howard practicing for the NBA dunk contest. "Impressive," Ogilvy says after watching it a second time. "Athletic." He grabs a fruit rollup and heads out a bit early. 1:10 p.m. Sarratt Cinema "History of Rock and Roll" is Ogilvy's favorite class. He waits in the lobby then joins the stream that enters after the previous class empties. He heads for a middle seat, second row from the back. Classmates, all girls, gradually surround him. His head pokes high above all the others in the room. His teacher, Jen Gunderman, is struck by a fitting coincidence.
